The CETA Mutual Recognition Agreement for Professional Qualifications of Architects (MRAA) is now in force. The MRAA makes it easier to recognize Canadian and European architects’ professional qualifications in each other’s jurisdiction. This important step supports the architecture sectors in both regions and enables new opportunities for collaboration on both sides of the Atlantic.
Please join us for an event examining the MRAA up close, with presentations from the Regulatory Organizations of Architecture in Canada (ROAC) and the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE). It will also feature a discussion between Canadian and European architects on the benefits it will bring to the ever-deepening Canada-EU partnership.
Date: 3 February 2026
Time: 17:15 to 18:30 CET / 11:15 to 12:30 EST
Location: Canadian Mission to the EU, 57 Avenue des Arts, Brussels
The event will include online participation for those outside the Brussels area.
The event is being organized by the Canada EU Trade and Investment Association (CEUTIA) on behalf of the Canadian Mission to the EU.
* A networking reception will follow for in-person participants.
This is the first episode in the third season of the #CETA Series of events aimed at examining the strategic importance of the Canada-EU economic and trade partnership and how to unlock its full potential.
